Our weekend was busy but it was a good busy. Here are some of the images that were captured over the last few days.

Abigail learned to blow her first bubble Friday after school. Do you remember when you first learned? I remember I was at a cottage on Rice Lake with cousins. I think I might have been 6 or 7. I can still picture it.

Jesse discovered the neighbour cat on our back deck Saturday morning. This was very amusing. Nathaniel wondered if we could let her in. Nope.

Saturday morning I went to church for a morning of Photography Basics. I trespassed into the neighbour's garden and got a picture of these beauties. I am generally not a fan of yellow flowers, except for the springtime.

Andrew's parents came to watch the kids as I was at church and Andrew had to work in the morning. Oma and Nathaniel spent all afternoon planting raspberry bushes in our garden. Nathaniel is such a trooper and didn't waiver in his interest for a good 2 hours. He is definitely all about projects. He loves getting his hands dirty and helping out.

We headed to our friends' place for Saturday supper in hopes of having a bonfire and weiner roast. The sky was looking like this so I got the kids to quickly run into the field for a quick pic before we ran inside.

I am still figuring out settings on my camera (and I don't have time to Photoshop right now) so this one is a bit dark. But I loved the image of the trees all lined up in a row. As I stood there I wished I had a tripod. The skies opened with driving winds and rain a good 30 seconds after I got inside.

And Jesse is digging into the appetizers as we waited for other friends to come over Sunday for supper. I was on hiatus from the camera during their visit. Another great visit to end a wonderful weekend.
