march water fight

The kids got home from school and insisted on having popsicles and changing into their bathing suits.  The water started soon after.

 Accidently spraying his little brother.

Little brother not coping well with the spray of water.

Acting goofy to distract his little brother.  Brother love.  It's a good thing.

march

I thought about breaking this post up into different parts.  But I'm worried that I'll get too busy to actually follow through in posting all the pics.  Instead I am going to just share a whole lotta pictures.  These were all taken during March Break and the week following.

In my last post I mentioned that I wasn't ready to do a full reveal of our house.  If you keep checking out the pictures below, you'll get a bit of a sneak peek.

Andrew's main birthday wish was being moved into our home for his birthday.  His wish came true.  We celebrated with sushi and cupcakes.

We moved in on a Saturday and had our first "party" with a number of neighbourhood friends at lunch on Sunday.

Monday morning.  Nathaniel found some rope and rigged up a pulley system on our new stairs.  It was after that I realized this rubs off the paint on our newly finished pickets.  Let that one go.

The amazing weather meant the kids spent tons of time reconnecting with their friends.  It was perfect.

Pics from around the house.

At the end of March Break, we celebrated March birthdays with my family.  Again, the kids lived outside and we used our bbq for the first time since moving home.

 More pics from the weekend.

the sugar bush

The month of March almost passed by without a post on my blog.  As I unpack boxes in our home, finish up the last few weeks of my counselling job and gear up for my photography season, I did not want to neglect the documenting of our everyday life.  I know many of you are eager to see our new home, but the final reveal will need to wait.  There are still so many details unfinished and I want you to see our renovated home without boxes cluttering up the view.  For now I will show you a glimpse of our March Break.

This particular morning, my dad, the kids and I visited a local sugar bush.  Here's a glimpse of our time there.
