Another year of dance is over.  There have been many times throughout the past few years when Abigail has  been less than excited to go to dance class.  It usually has to do with ballet and the strict rules.  She loves the freedom and movement that comes with modern dance.  But by the time the end of year recital has been performed she always is ready to enrol in the next fall's classes.  This year is no exception.  

This year she still shared her dislike of ballet.  But the dance performance again made up for her frustrations.  She was a beautiful and moody storm cloud.  She has a natural understanding of her body and performs with a grace and seriousness that I don't think you can teach in a dancer.  (This is strictly the opinion of a mother and non trained dancer.)      

 These pictures were all taken last week during her week of in theatre rehearsals.  I sneaked my camera into the rehearsal and snapped this one picture before seeing the theatre staff start to approach.  This was all I got but thankfully it catches Abigail in the middle of her storm routine.
