christmas with family 2011

Boxing day and the 27th were our travelling days.  Being on the move allowed us many wonderful moments to enjoy family and food.  Our first stop was to celebrate with Andrew's side.  Most years we are downstairs opening gifts but this year we were snug in the living room with nice light beaming through the front windows.  (This photographer was very happy with the change in location.)

 The playmobil theme continued.

Jesse's smarty pants.

Our first Star Wars toy.  This look, although subdued, is Nathaniel's way of saying he is a very, very happy boy.

Abigail quickly tried on the beautiful gift handmade by her cousin Miranda.

There is always lots of tickling.

And full body wrestling holds.

Our next day brought us to my side of the family.

She was pretty stoked with her Harry Potter colouring book.

Andrew chose to borrow Jesse's shield to protect him from in coming paper balls to the head.

This girl is going to be a teenager before I'm ready.

 Matching hoodies.

When it was time to go home, we discovered a beautiful coating of snow.  Some kids helped shovel while others built a snowman.

 That's a wrap for Christmas 2011.
