easter favorites part two

Here is a highlight of how we spent last Saturday. Can't believe the change in weather from a week ago!

I was just reading a lesson from my photography course about candid vs. posed shots. I was getting ready to do a posed shot of the Woelk men and they all just happened to smile at the same time in response to somebody's funny comment. I'm so thankful I captured it.

Jesse was the first to go on the treasure hunt. It took him a while to see his egg hiding on the swing set. I was sure he had seen it and was just playing with us.

It wasn't until Andrew got in the sight line of the egg that he spotted it.

Everyone off to the next clue.

Abigail made up a secret code for Selah's clue.

Karis was a dream to photograph. I love how she is peeking between her cousins.

Not every photo is perfect. But I love the emotion that is captured here.

Jesse wasn't shy when digging into his chocolate treat.

Andrew got this great action shot of Nathaniel. Love it!

Again, I love the emotion captured here. Of course there are many distracting elements, but sometimes you have to look past those.

Abigail pretending to sleep.

Time to break out the Easter markers.

Nathaniel received some foam airplanes. This was a hit.

Love how Karis is listening so intently to her dad's instructions.

Abigail.

Selah.

Nathaniel laughing with Uncle Eric. That's it for Easter shots.
