halloween 2011

We returned to our street for Halloween.  Despite hearing great things about our temporary neighbourhood, the kids insisted on returning home for trick or treating.  This year's costumes - a soldier, hockey player (with a real black eye from falling off his chair Saturday evening) and Hermoine Granger (from Harry Potter).

We got going around 6:15.  The kids were SO excited.  And I was thrilled to not have to stand by the door and hand out candy.  I took advantage of this opportunity and took lots of pictures.

By the end of our street, Jesse announced that he was ready to go home.  While walking back up the street he visited a few more doors but soon ended up on Daddy's shoulders.  We had a quick pick me up from the neighbour who barbeques hot dogs and hamburgers, then finished up the street.  Andrew drove Jesse home and I continued on with A & N and our neighbour to the neighbouring street.  After another full bag of candy we returned home.  Now I'm trying to figure out how to widdle down the HUGE bags of candy in our home.
