Andrew grabbed this quick shot.
Wildflowers picked from the backyard.

FIFA meant it was time to get out the globe.
Lots of soccer watching. Nathaniel was the most interested out of our three kids.

Story time with Oma.

A side trip to Mapleton's.

Day trip to Centreville.

Sandwiches for a picnic.
Before and After - camping laundry
Nathaniel - "Jesse lost a tooth!" Me - "No, it's just a piece of blueberry."
Jesse trying to take off the piece of blueberry.

Jesse describing to Grandpa how small he was when he was a baby.

BBQ pizza for supper.
Our hockey sticks nicely cleaned up. This deserved a picture because they never look this way.

Nathaniel has taken on the chore of watering our two tomato plants. He takes his duties very seriously. He has also put himself on recycling duty and collecting the garbage in the house duty.

Pictures from yesterday...Nathaniel and Abigail are in swimming lessons this week. You have no idea how far Nathaniel has come in 4 days. Monday was spent screaming and kicking in the water. He has agreed to go in the water with the condition that he does not need to put his head in the water. We have an interesting road ahead of us.
And this one only needs to be coerced OUT of the water. She is our fish.

Oh the joys of summer, wonderfully reflected in these photos. Hard to believe it's almost back-to-school season.
What is your BBQ pizza recipe, Catherine?
I found this link on how to grill pizza. http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/how_to_grill_pizza/
My toppings for our pizzas in the picture above was sauce, mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni for the kids. The adult pizza was sauteed zucchini, corn cut off the cob, and scallions (This combo is one of my favorites for a quesadilla filling). I also crumbled on feta and mozzarella cheese.
Catherine, it's so wonderful that you have so many things in your life to photograph! Looking at this entry made me realize how much I want my family life to look like that one day :-)
Chanda, your response is a kind of affirmation to continue celebrating the everyday stuff that makes up our lives. It really is so easy to take it all for granted.
