my camp ad

Camping with the family.  Sometimes I wonder if it is really a holiday.  There is packing all the bedding, clothes, food, beach toys, games...the list goes on.  It may feel like you spend hours setting up, just to repack everything and head back home.  Well, this past weekend changed all that for us.  What if I told you there was a place where you were just responsible for keeping yourself dressed and warm at night (bring your own bedding).  That's it.  Bring your tent, trailer or better yet, sleep in a cabin.  Meals are provided (and I'm talking about amazing food) and activities are too many to choose from.  Are you ready to sign up?  Yeah, I thought so.

It all started last Friday.  We drove up to camp, set up the trailer and got settled in for an amazing family camp weekend.

Jesse got settled right into his camping routine.

Our days were busy with so many fun activities.  Some of the things we participated in were crafts,

Archery,

Canoeing,

Tetherball,

Nature,

Hiking the camp property,

hmm, not sure how to describe this one.  It's just too funny to leave out.

all camp games,

free time with new friends,

singing camp songs,

and roasting smores.

We all had a wonderful time enjoying the gorgeous property of Silver Lake, reuniting with old friends, meeting new people and being spoiled by the fabulous staff that provided a stress free atmosphere for our family to take part in all the elements of camp.  We are definitely signing up next year.
