last summer

In the past number of weeks I have been able to finish a bunch of scrapbook layouts. It was interesting to look back at summer pictures from last year and do my summary layouts of all the fun activities we did as a family. It is even more incredible to see pictures of Jesse from a year ago. Can't believe how much he has changed.

I enjoyed using some of the scrapbooking stuff that I won a few months back. Love the hippo paper.

This page came together really fast. I love when that happens. This is a good example of experimenting (painting the middle of the tag orange so the 'Curious' stands out), not loving the end result but being okay to just let it be.

I am doing more and more of these kinds of layouts - trying to cram lots of pictures onto one layout. This allows me to keep making pages for Abigail but limiting the number I create. I try to do a summary of events for each season and then focus on special memories that really document who my children are.

I don't think I have ever done a page before that had no journalling. But I figured the title said it all. This is from last Canada Day.
