The weekend is here and I now have had the chance to go through the pictures I took last weekend. Our family joined many others up at Silver Lake for their 2nd annual family camp weekend. Andrew and the kids arrived Friday evening and I joined them Sunday morning (having worked a wedding on Saturday). Sunday afternoon we hit the pond, spending a few hours sliding, digging in the sand, and travelling on the zipline (Abigail).
On Monday we drove home and made our mandatory stop at Mapleton's. It's the perfect place for an afternoon scoop of organic ice cream, a visit with the farm animals, a trip through the maze to the pirate ship and a few digs in the corn box. Abigail added a swing or two on the tire swing and the kids were treated to a pony ride. This was a first! Jesse had a ride later when the camera was put away.
